The All Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced 418 vacancies in AIIMS New Delhi and National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Jhajjar and invited applications to fill the various positions.

Educational qualifications for each role

Scientist II: Candidates applying for this position will have to have a PhD and also one-year of experience post PhD in the field. (This is in addition to experience or two years during the period of PhD) or PhD Preference will be given to those possessing some experience and publications in the line.

Biochemist: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry in chemistry with Biochemistry as a special subject from a recognised University. Additionally, they must have three years of research or practical experience in Biochemistry Pathological Laboratory, preferably of a Medical College or Hospital.

Medical Physicist: Candidates must have a Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Physics from a recognised University. A post-MSc diploma in radiological/medical physics from a recognised University. Candidates must also have internship experience of a minimum of twelve months in a recognised well-equipped radiation therapy department.

Storekeeper: Candidates applying for this position must possess a Master’s Degree in Economics/Commerce/Statistics.

Storekeeper (Drugs): A Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised university/institute.

Programmer: BE/BTech or Post Graduate in Science, Math etc. or Post Graduate in Computer Application.

Technician (Radiology): BSc (Hons) in Radiography or BSc Radiography 03 years course from a recognised University/Institution.

Junior Engineer: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Polytechnic institute.

Medical Laboratory Technologist: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Science from a Government recognised university/Institution with two-year experience in a lab attached with a hospital having a minimum of 100 beds.

Junior Hindi Translator: Masters degree or a recognised University in Hindi English with English and Hindi as a main/elective subject at the degree level.

  • General/OBC candidates: Rs 1500
  • SC/ST candidates/EWS: Rs 1200
  • Persons with Disabilities: Exempted
