For those following an eco-conscious lifestyle, nothing is more attractive than a skin and hair-care range that is all-natural, vegan, and cruelty-free.
Started by Dr Annu Singhi (29) and and Harshita Jain (25), about a year ago, Raw Home Essentials recreates age-old remedies with modern-day expertise. They believe that you shouldn’t put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t eat, and have designed their range on that principle.
All their products are handcrafted and go through rigorous quality checks before being sent out. They’re all made with earth-friendly ingredients, so what’s not to like?
1. Lip Care Combo
If you’re looking for complete lip-care, look no further. This combo comes with a rose lip scrub and a raspberry lip butter. They’re both vegan, cruelty-free products, made with all-natural ingredients. Since they’re completely free of chemicals and parabens, they are great for those with sensitive skin.
“For those grappling with stretch marks, either from extreme weight fluctuation or pregnancy, this body oil acts as a saviour,” says Dr Singhi. Ingredients like Sage Oil, Rosehip Oil, Neroli Oil, Cypress Oil, Grapefruit Oil and Patchouli Oil work to lighten the old and new stretch marks as well as prevent new ones from forming by hydrating the skin.
3. Mogra Shower Gel
Mogra, aka as jasmine, has skin firming and anti-ageing properties since it is full of antioxidants. Additionally, the alluring and heady fragrance of the flowers leaves you relaxed once you step out of the shower. This shower gel is a must-have if you like smelling fresh all day long.
4. Brow Enhancing Roll-On
If you’re forever filling up your brows with eye-pencil before stepping out, maybe you could try a long-term solution.
“This eyebrow-enhancing roll-on works to repair and restore the thickness of brows, and can be easily carried around in a wallet,” recommends Dr. Singhi. It contains cold-pressed organic castor, vetiver, ylang-ylang, and rosemary oils that work like a charm to get your eyebrows on point.
5. Herbal Hair Mask
Who doesn’t like a healthy and lustrous mane? This hair mask is all you need to strengthen and stimulate hair growth. Made of herbs like amla (Indian gooseberry), reetha (Sapindus mukorossi), shikakai (Acacia concinna), methi (fenugreek), brahmi (Indian pennywort), and ashwagandha (Indian ginseng), the hair mask comes in dry powder form.
Just soak a few tablespoons in yoghurt and a bit of any carrier oil the previous night. And add some water to it and apply in the morning. Leave it on for two hours before washing.
6. Sandalwood Face Toner And Soap
Sandalwood has immense benefits for the skin. From helping remove tan, acne, dark spots and blemishes, to anti-inflammatory and skin softening properties, consistent use can bring your skin to life. This combo has all the goodness of sandalwood in the form of a facial toner and sandalwood soap that you must add to your kit right away.
These products are not only good for you but also good for the planet since they’re made from 100 per cent eco-friendly ingredients. What’s more, a little of these will go a long way in restoring perfect skin and hair health for you.
