1. Life on the Ghats: A Photo Journey Of Varanasi – Bengaluru

A photography exhibition by Veeral Parekh. He is a Bangalore based and has a degree in visual arts. His photos are characterised by the use of everyday objects in an atmosphere of middle-class mentality in which recognition plays an important role. More details.

2. Clothes Donation Drive – Kolkata

ITEMS NEEDED: Clothes in good condition for all ages, belts, bags, scarfs and winter wear.

PLEASE DO NOT DONATE: Ripped, worn-out or stained clothes, undergarments, socks or shoes.

HOW WILL IT HELP?

Kolkata Clothes Drive – A citywide program providing clothes and jobs to families living in slum communities and villages. More details. Similar initiative is also being organized in Pune on 5th April. Check out this page for details.

4. International Women’s Conference – Bengaluru

5. Art for a Cause – Mumbai

Indian Cancer Society (ICS), non-profit, National Organization for Awareness, Detection, Cure and Survivorship of those affected Cancer is organising the 5th edition of its Annual fund raiser Art Exhibition – “Art for a Cause”. More than 50 leading and renowned Indian artists like, Ajay De, Anjolie Ela Menon, Arzan Khanbatta, Charan Sharma, Gurcharan Singh, Jayshri Burman, Nayanaa Kanodia, Nupur Kandu, Prafulla Dahanukar, Vrindavan Solanki, Thota Vaikunthan, Vinita Karin, Vinod Sharma, Yashwant Shirwardkar, Bhavana Sonawane and more have come together to contribute their work for the noble cause of raising funds for deserving cancer patients. 6. A Walk Through the Mehrauli Archaeological Park – Delhi
