Hyderabad based Uma Chigurupati  and Krishna Prasad Chigurupati  are the first couple to complete the World Marathon Challenge.

They ran 7 half-marathons in 7 continents in 7 days!

Now here’s something even more impressive:

Krishna is 60 years of age and Uma is 53!

The couple decided to do something memorable when Krishna turned 60 recently. And they ended up being the first couple to have completed and won these half-marathons across seven continents, including some of them on the harshest terrain. The route for the World Marathon Challenge included Antarctica, South America, Miami in North America, Madrid in Europe, Marrakesh in Africa, Dubai and Sydney.
