Perfect Gifts, Cutest Decor: Bengaluru, Learn to Make Terrariums with Jars & Bottles
In just three hours, you can have a garden at your fingertips - quite literally!
What is in a terrarium?
Created in a sealed or open container, terrariums are mini-gardens that can decorate your desk or room. But they are far more than mere decor. They are mini-ecosystems that can show you how the water cycle works, how plants utilise fallen leaves as nutrition sources, photosynthesis etc. Try your hand at making one and you’ll be hooked to them forever!
What to expect in the Bengaluru workshop:
Sreedevi Balasubramanian will go through the basics of making a self-dependant terrarium. In the case of sealed terrariums, you need to be careful about the soil you use, the amount of water put in the pot and how much sunlight the plants need. Sreedevi will explain all these points in detail. You can make your terrarium in a glass jar, a wine bottle or a bulb (how cute is that!)
