It’s been a pretty eventful year for TBI so far, and it’s still only January! This year, we have set our sights on even larger impact goals. There’s always a lot of work to do, and we’re making a lot of progress together.
To kick the year off, TBI just bagged a trophy at the 9th India Digital Awards, held by the Internet And Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). TBI was awarded the ‘Best use of Internet for Social and Economic Development.’
The IAMAI is an industry think tank dedicated to enhancing Internet services. They have established the India Digital Awards to promote excellence and innovation in delivering successful business outcomes using the digital medium.
The other winners in the space of Social And Economic Empowerment were Tata Consultancy Services’ ‘Adult Literacy Program’ and India’s first Digital Gram Panchayat app which directly connects citizens with their representatives at the panchayat level.
It feels wonderful to be recognized by such an authority in the domain of digital media for the upliftment of society, and that too alongside such innovative ideas. And it certainly motivates us to reach out to ever more people. The more people that TBI can reach, the more impact that TBI can help create!
But, of course, the impact is actually made by you and people just like you. Any award TBI receives belongs just as much to every one of you as it does to those of us who work at TBI. Congratulations!
