And while the free pizza might feel tastier metaphorically, considering you spent zero bucks on it, how many of us think about the odds these young delivery men and women endure, so that it reaches our doorstep within the 30-minute deadline?

I don’t know about you, but the next time I see an advertisement claiming to deliver my pizza in 30 minutes or give it to me for free, I am walking past it.

And the next time your order is delayed beyond the promised 30 minutes, we hope you don’t claim a refund, without at least inquiring.

Perhaps it’s time food giants start valuing the lives of their employees over marketing gimmicks.
