14-YO Pune Student Helps Nab Pervert Who Forced Girls To Watch Porn in School
He had been allegedly touching three girls inappropriately and harassing them to view pornographic material for the last three months.
A brave 14-YO helped the Pune Police strike down on a peon in her Kothrud School.

He had been allegedly touching three girls inappropriately and harassing them to view pornographic material for the last three months.
According to a report in Pune Mirror, the man was identified as 47-year-old Raghunath Chowdhary, a resident of Shastri Nagar, Kothrud. According to the report, the man allegedly grabbed the three girls and forced them to see the pornographic pictures, expecting them to ‘learn’ from them.
While the girls managed to escape him, they claim to have been threatened for weeks when they tried to lodge a formal complaint against him.
The incident came to the attention of the school after one brave 14-year-old gathered the courage to report the entire issue to her parents. Angered, the parents wasted no time in getting in touch with the school. The complaint was probed internally. Two other 13-year-old girls came forward with similar statements.
The school, after getting the written complaints, informed the Kothrud police. The staffer’s employment was terminated immediately.
He was booked by the Police under Section 7 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, for inappropriate touching and Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code for assault or criminal force to a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty. He was produced before a court for trial.
Speaking to the Pune Mirror, Kothrud Police Inspector Appasaheb Shevale, said, “There could be more skeletons in the cupboard. We hope to receive more complainants through the school officials to mount more case on him.”

In light of the #MeToo wave that has shaken the country, this is yet another incident which sheds light on the lack of safe spaces for young girls and women, including their workplaces and schools which are considered their “second homes”. We hope the matter is thoroughly investigated and that the girls are protected.
