Films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara make the prospect of a foreign road trip very alluring. Driving through scenic locations with your friends and family was added to the bucket lists and travel itineraries of the young and old alike.

However, getting an international driving license and having the dream road trip is not an easy proposition in reality.

The Goyals from Delhi were all excited for their Europe trip. Only a week before their departure, they learnt that an Indian driving license would not allow them to drive there. With less than a week left for their trip, they had to drop all plans of hiring a car and driving through the European countryside.

In a bid to lure more Indians to visit their countries, the rules that mandated the need for an international driving license are now being relaxed.

Here are the countries which validate your Indian driving license and allow you to drive on their territory.
