Second Innings at 74: Mumbai Lady’s Incredible Spirit Will Make Your Day!

In yet another inspiring post by Humans of Bombay, we get a glimpse into the life of Leela ‘Aunty,’ a septuagenarian, whose story will surely inspire you.

After she lost her husband to cancer, Leela confined herself to her home, following a monotonous routine day in and day out. Soon, her old age caught up with her, and she had to get a knee replacement surgery.

A surgery is usually followed by a period of rest and recovery. However, seeing the hospital bill was a life-altering moment for Leela, and she had a major epiphany!

Read Leela’s story here, and find out what she is up to, these days.
