Want Pain-Free Periods? Celeb Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar Shares What You Can Do!

Every month, as my period approaches, I find myself approaching my daily routine in wildly contrasting ways. Sometimes, my beloved dal-rice seems unappealing, and all I want to do is curl up, while there are times when I have all the energy in the world to cook, clean my room and dance as though I’m the happiest person on the planet. When these feelings follow each other in just a week, I know I need to keep my menstrual cup ready.

If you are like me, you know that just a cup or pad won’t suffice. We need our arsenal of chocolates, chips, hot water bag and a cosy sweater. Who knows what direction our hormones decide to take this time?

It’s time for our periods (which can sometimes be painful) to begin, and we don’t want to compromise on our needs.
