Lucknow Doctor Treats Soldiers For Free, Says ‘They Have Paid Their Fee at the Border’!

If you visit the clinic of Lucknow’s doctor Ajay Chaudhary in Gomti Nagar, a unique signboard will probably catch your eye. No, it isn’t the one that says, ‘Kindly remove your footwear outside.’

Instead, it says, ‘No consultation charge for soldiers. You have already paid our fee at the border’.

Yes, this doctor requests soldiers to come along with their ID cards for free consultations!

Speaking to the media, he says it is his way of thanking them for shouldering relentless difficulties at the border to make sure we sleep safely within the confines of our homes.

Perhaps a major influence behind this heartwarming gesture by the Lucknow doctor is the fact that he comes from a military background himself.

Ajay’s father was in the army, while his brother served as a commander in the Indian Navy. Ajay too aspired to serve the nation and appeared for the National Defence Academy exam. But unfortunately, he couldn’t get through.

But nonetheless, this doctor is certainly fulfilling his responsibility towards the sons and daughters of the nation who not only battle external forces but also fight in internal struggles to keep the nation safe.

Speaking to ANI, Dr. Chaudhary says this is only a small contribution he wants to make to towards the soldiers.

“This is my way of giving back to the people who work selflessly for the nation. I have been doing this voluntarily,” he said.

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear lab coats too! We salute Dr. Ajay Chaudhary for setting a great example for the rest of the country.
