Indians still remember the deafening cheers that filled the stadium whenever Sachin Tendulkar came up to bat. From being one of the most beloved captains of the Indian cricket team, to scoring runs left, right, and centre, his playing was a force to be reckoned with.

Yet, before he dominated on the field, he too, came from humble beginnings, starting his career the same way countless others in India have—by playing gully cricket.
