We often hear of brutal encounters between humans and animals, where one or the other ends up getting hurt. This fear that exists between the two has repeatedly prevented humans from taking the right course of action in the interest of preserving wildlife. It is therefore, heartwarming to see these individuals releasing a snow leopard back into the wild.

The wild cat, which was captured in the Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, had wandered into a residential area, and was quickly captured by the villagers. However, instead of killing the animal, they chose to set it free in the wild.
According to a report by NDTV, snow leopards were seldom seen in Himachal Pradesh, but in recent times, this number has been on the rise.
