Who says travel is only about facing a seating crunch, sitting in uncomfortable positions for long hours, and making do with low-quality food sold in stalls? The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is here to change your mind.

The Ministry of Railways tweeted that India’s first Railway Saloon Coach started operating on 29th March 2018. The coach has two exclusive bedrooms with an attached bath, a dining room and a kitchenette! Talk about a luxurious house, which is mobile and also comes with a view!

The train travelled from Delhi to Katra with six passengers on board. This luxurious private coach was attached to the Jammu Mail train.

The Railway Saloon Coach was initially reserved only for railway officials to get to places which were not connected by air or road. But now, even you can get a ride in this high-end train coach!
