IRCTC Is Inviting Entries for Its New Logo & Tagline. If You Win, You Get Rs 1 Lakh!

For those of you who have a lot of pride and confidence in your creativity, this is your golden chance, to win a lakh! So put on your thinking caps, for the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) beckons those of you with a flair for words and design. If you think you have what it takes to give the IRCTC a new logo and a new tagline, send in your entries.

The IRCTC, a well-known Indian Railways subsidiary, handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the Indian Railways. The present tagline “Lifeline of the nation”, is getting a tad bit old the IRCTC feels, which is why they have invited applications.

On the website, the official prizes stated are:-

The person who coins the best name for the IRCTC will win Rs 1 lakh

The person who comes up with the best logo design will win Rs 1 lakh.

The person who comes up with the best tagline will win Rs 50,000.

So, whether you wish to submit a railway-themed design or a name that reflects the ethos of the IRCTC, or a tagline that encapsulates the railway spirit, this contest is for you. Think of it as a way to give back to the IRCTC, for all the nostalgic train journeys when you were young.
