I spend most of my day writing. I do this from the confines of my house. I would be delighted to work from a space where I get to see and maybe even interact with others. What would be even better is if I could take my kids along and have them engaged during my work hours.
With mounting rents and a severe space crunch in cities, co-working spaces are proving to be a big boon for many start-ups and independent professionals. Like most other cities, Chennai also has many such spaces across the city.
With the summer holiday round the corner one of the things that parents are looking for are spaces where they can take their children and continue to work. The Book Office, housed on the premises of the ilovereadin’ Library at Adyar, is going to solve this very issue.
