The agile breed of dogs reportedly can handle tasks in half as much time as some foreign breeds.

One of the most crucial non-human resources of the Indian army is dogs. The duties of these K-9 recruits are to sniff and identify dangers, and they begin training right from when they are puppies.

At the moment, German Shepherds, Great Swiss Mountain dogs, and Labradors are three of the most popular species recruited in the army. But Mudhol dogs will soon stand paw-to-paw with these breeds as the Indian army is all set to recruit these Indian species.

The agile breed of dogs reportedly can handle tasks in half as much time as German shepherds and Labradors.
