Do you want your career to start with a flourish? What better place to begin, than the hallowed ISRO.

The ISRO Satellite Centre in Bengaluru has invited applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow. There are 20 posts, and the fellowship will initially be for two years, with a third year subject to passing a performance.

Collect the online-generated registration number, and file it away for future reference.

The registrations will be screened on certain parameters, and selected candidates will be called for an interview. Shortlisted candidates will receive their interview call letters via email.

In order to be eligible to apply for this, you need:-

M.E. /M.Tech/ M.Sc or equivalent postgraduate degree, First Class with a minimum aggregate of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with a pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) or equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 65% (average of all Semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. The candidates who qualified in NET or NET equivalent examinations are only eligible to apply.

M.Sc or equivalent Degree, First Class with a minimum aggregate of 65% (average of all Semesters) or 6.5 CGPA/CPI on a 10 point scale. The candidates who are qualified in NET or NET equivalent examinations are only eligible to apply.

Maximum age for application- 28 years, as on 2nd January 2018. (relaxable by five years in case of SC/ST), and three years in case of OBC Candidates.

Disabled patients are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Age relaxation rules as per government policies are also applicable to Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Widows, Divorced Women and Women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried.

What will a Junior Research Fellow earn?

A stipend of Rs 25,000 which is to be considered basic pay.
House Rent Allowance at prescribed rates.
Medical benefits for self.
Casual Leave.
