When a baby elephant became stuck in a muddy hole, it looked like all hope was lost. The elephant had unknowingly wandered into the pit and was unable to find its way back to the herd.
Even though there were other elephants in the vicinity, none of them came to the poor baby elephant’s assistance, until Kerala’s Forest Department situated in Thattekad intervened. What followed was an intense rescue operation.
