The result of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2017 was declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday.
The result of the exam can be viewed on UPSC’s official website – www.upsc.gov.in.
The examination was held on September 10, and candidates who cleared the exam will now appear for an interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence, reports Hindustan Times.
These are candidates seeking admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 140th Course and the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
These courses will start from July 2 next year.

“The mark-sheets of the candidates, will be put on the Commission’s website within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the final result (after concluding SSB Interviews) and will remain available on the website for a period of thirty (30) days,” said a UPSC NDA, NA results notification from the commission, reports NDTV.
Along with the result, the commission also issued a press note, which should be read carefully by the candidates. Through this examination, 390 posts will be filled, reports HT.
National Defence Academy will have 335 posts, which include208 for the Indian Army, 72 for the Indian Air Force, 55 for the Indian Navy. 55 posts will be filled for the Indian Naval Academy.
