The Amul team always shines with its elaborate hoardings featuring the famous Amul girl (the creative baby of Eustace Fernandes) and her tongue-in-cheek humorous take on current news.
But the winner in this ‘utterly butterly’ Twitter exchange was the Indian Railways.
Amul reached out to the Railways with a business proposition this time. It tweeted “@RailMinIndia, Amul is interested in using refrigerated parcel vans to transport Amul Butter across India. Request to please advise,” the dairy major had tweeted to the Railways.
The Indian Railways was quick to respond with a whip-smart reply using the brand’s tagline.
“IR will be utterly butterly delighted to get the taste of India to every Indian,” the ministry’s handle @RailMinIndia tweeted.
Tweeps lauded the interaction between the two saying:

Is this the start of a new business between the state-owned transporter and the dairy giant? Only time will tell.

The refrigerator van service by the Railways was introduced a few years ago to facilitate quick transportation of perishable goods like fruits, vegetables, frozen meats/poultry and chocolates.
But this service only exists on a few select routes.
“We would certainly like to capture this traffic. Let us see what can be done,” an official told PTI also revealing that the senior divisional manager of the Ahmedabad Division will meet authorities at Amul to discuss it further.
