From Vidhana Soudha to MTR, the New Video About Bengaluru Will Take You on a Nostalgia Trip

The city of Bengaluru has forever left people smitten. Once you start living here, it becomes a real heartbreak if at all there comes a day you need to relocate to some other place.

The old colonial Bangalore charm interspersed with the technology-driven Bengaluru; you don’t just live here, you evolve.

That’s exactly what the new music video about the Garden City tells you!

The Bangalore Song, a video capturing a young girl falling in love with the city and its nuances, is trending across the social space with the catchy words, Namma ooru Bengaluru, sakkath coolu (Our city Bengaluru, It’s really cool) and one couldn’t be any less right about the city!

Produced by Flash Frame Visuals Academy of Film & Television, the video has already received rave reviews and been shared many, many times!

As the narrative in the video proceeds, one gets to understand that before moving to the UK with her family, the protagonist decides to take one last trip across the city in her old Premier Padmini, one of the most symbolic Indian cars from yesteryears and a first car for many families.

A trip down memory lane, the video showcases a montage of some of the most iconic landmarks in the city – historical buildings, market places, flyovers and the best eating joints!

And to top it all, the video has some really old clips that crop up suddenly, making you wonder how much the city has changed over the years. But as the video moves on, you do end up thinking: was it the city really, or was it you?

Capturing the essence of the city, flicking between people and their expressions, places and their unforgettable facets, the video speaks for every person who has lived here at least once in their lifetime.
