1. Cows were respected as mothers in ancient India. Nevertheless, the animal lovers will be happy to know that as many as 85,115 such ‘mothers’ in Punjab will not only be rescued from knives of butchers but they will also get a home!

2. Jesus Christ is quoted in The Holy Bible saying “The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth” means only gentle (and strong) people will be able to live peacefully! The message seems to have reached the Madurai-based ‘Aparajitha Foundation’ that determined to create a generation of confident citizens. It will give students lessons on soft skills relating to emotional and social intelligence that prove to be the deciding factor to move ahead in a competitive world later on!
