Here’s Why Superhero Hulk is Calling Himself ‘100% Bihar’

The one and only Hulk star, Mark Ruffalo, says he is now “100% Bihar.” What he means is that he is right behind the state’s efforts to become fully solar powered. And not just him, prominent personalities like Manoj Bajpai, Vinay Pathak and Shekhar Suman are endorsing Bihar’s efforts too.

The Hulk is 100% green. Literally! Yes, we all know that. But did you also know that he is “100% Bihar?”

Hollywood actor, Mark Ruffalo, who is mostly known for playing the character of superhero Hulk, has lent his support to #SolarBihar project, which focuses on encouraging people to adopt sustainable and renewable energy.

Ruffalo took to Twitter and supported the campaign by tweeting that he is “100 % Bihar” –

While Ruffalo has given a new kick to the initiative, he is not the only celebrity to be part of this much talked about campaign.

The initiative is already backed by prominent personalities like Vinay Pathak, Sanjay Mishra, Manoj Bajpayee, Neetu Chandra, Prakash Jha, Shekhar Suman and many more who have taken the “I am 100% Bihar” pledge.

All these celebrities are supporting a campaign by the Centre for Environment and Energy Development (CEED), which has already helped a small village Dharnai in Bihar become the first Indian village to be fully solar-powered. Here is more on how the campaign has transformed the lives in Dharnai.
