VIDEO: An Innovation that can Save Millions of Newborns Around the World
Here is a ground breaking invention which is capable of saving the lives of thousands of babies in underdeveloped and developing countries.
In our attempt to bring you ideas from around the world, here is a ground breaking invention which is capable of saving the lives of thousands of babies in underdeveloped and developing countries.
Every year, more than 1 million infants die the very day they are born and many more lose their lives in the first week after birth.
The causes of these deaths are multiple, especially in underdeveloped and developing countries.
However, one of the major causes of a baby dying within the very first week of its birth is hypothermia.
Hypothermia is a medical condition in which the body loses heat quicker than it can produce it. Although such a condition occurs all around the world, the death rate in the developed countries is lower because of the availability of incubators in good numbers.
However, in underdeveloped and developing countries, such as ours, many cannot afford to take advantage of such medical facilities.
In such a scenario, how can parents keep their babies warm? Let Embrace show you with an innovative and inexpensive idea.
